This privacy policy has been compiled to inform you about how Port Macquarie Hastings Heritage collect and use the information you provide.

What personal information we collect

We lawfully collect personal information that is necessary for our business to function and may include:

Name, company, address and contact details.

Data from customer surveys, subscriptions or newsletters.
Data from Port Macquarie Hastings Heritage’s social media and other digital platforms.

We may collect other information to assist you with your walking tours including but not limited to, passport number, driver’s license or other government-issued identification number, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure locations and times, airline, hotel or car rental information and other related travel information. (this is to cover all bases)

We will not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 and believe he or she has disclosed personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at mitch@pmheritage.com.au. If a user is under 18, unless consent is obtained from the parent or guardian, they are not allowed to provide us with personal information. A parent or guardian of a child may review and request deletion of such child’s personally identifiable information as well as prohibit the use of that information.  

How we use your information 

We use the information we collect for the purpose disclosed at the time of collection or otherwise as set out in this Privacy Statement. We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without first seeking your consent, unless authorised or required by law. Generally we will only use your personal information:

To maintain your relationship as a customer of Port Macquarie Hastings Heritage
To provide the products and services you have requested from Port Macquarie Hastings Heritage
To report to relevant authorities about the tours we conduct, if required by them
To administer and manage those products and services
To detect, prevent and address technical issues

Retention of Data

Agents and third party software

Port Macquarie Hastings Heritage may use from time to time agents, social media and/or other cloud based software to market and/or manage our business. These third party companies, example, HubSpot, Bookeo, PayPal, Stripe, Facebook, Twitter etc, use social media features and widgets (such as “Like” and “Share” buttons/widgets) which are provided and operated by them and either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website or mobile application. Such features may collect information such as the page you are visiting on our website/mobile application, your IP address, and may set cookies for the proper functioning of features.

If you are logged into your account with a third party company, then the third party may be able to link information about your visit to and use of our website to your social media account with them. Your interactions with the social media features may be recorded by the third party.  Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
